My friend told me she’s pregnant today. It’s moments like those that you realise you are not a kid anymore.

The title of this post stems from the fact that the first sign of a possible pregnancy is forgetfulness… This might not be a medical fact, but I have observed this 3 times now, so it’s fact to me.  My friend was so forgetful this week that she forgot what she was about to say while talking…

I am not at all envious of my friend.  I cannot imagine giving up my sleep and time for anyone right now.  It’s a really big commitment.  And I’m pretty sure my kids will be really really difficult to control.

Anyhow.. This is what’s growing inside her right now:

I just discovered someone in my office is non-straight (whether she is gay/bi, I don’t know), but I seriously did not see that coming…

And I thought I was the only one.. :)

Interesting development in an otherwise ordinary day.
